Anyone else feel the Flightpaths are a bit.. hmm "silly" say?
Im currently Horde, and im speaking mainly for placed in the Kalimdor region. We have Ogrimmar, the capital with many Hordes gathering there daily, its connected to places like Crossroads, Splintertree, Gadgetzan etc.
Im currently Mid-level so i need to make trips to places like Freewind Post, and other places like so. Although ive found that the only way to actually get there from say Ogrimmar is to either run from Crossroads (An insane amount of time if you dont have any speed increments) or run from Gadgetzan, and fear been banged from Alliance who are far superior in level.
Then i thought "Well.. OK, fair do's, i suppose the Wyverns would be absolutely knackered if they had to fly all that way to get from one destination to another. I mean, from Gadgetzan-Ogrimmar it takes roughly 6mins (Someone told me! Im not that nerdy!) to get there.
Although i noticed if you was flying from Ogrimmar to Gadgetzan - You fly under Freewind Post! Making that statement about "Them poor old Wyverns" completely false! I just dont get why they could connect some other destinations to the flightpaths especially if one destination is going to be bypassed en route to another. It makes it illogical in a sense.
It just makes it silly having to fly from Ogrimmar-to-Crossroads-then-Freewind.
Especially since when you land in a new destination it could take sometime to load properly - Im stating this from experience, i used to have 1gb of memory and there wasnt much to write home about, had it on full detail etc, now at the moment (Until tomorrow... hopefully) im on 512mb, and places like Ogrimmar/Crossroads completely kill my system, even on the lowest settings!
It also takes about 5mins to load up if i start the game/end the game in somewhere crowded like Ogrimmar, im sorry i chose that place as my "home" :S
