When I first began playing cs, hardly anyone used flashbangs. Now it seems with the proliferation of script buying that everyone has flashbangs.
Not that I mind, its their money, but I do wish they wouldn't throw the fecking things from behind me, over my head, and directly in front of where I'm running.
Dust is a prime example. As a ct, running for the first doorway slightly to the right, to blast fire into any terrorists that might be running there. I nearly always get blinded by some guy with a flashbang, who, seeing me running in that direction, thinks I might appreciate some sensory deprivation, and proceeds to throw his grenade, blinding me (and killing me usually).
If HE grenades damage the person that throws them and no other member of his team, then why is it deemed necessary for flashbangs to blind everyone?
I think attention should be paid to this problem, maybe flashbangs could be made a lot more expensive, say 500 dollars, instead of 200 dollars. After all, not many people buy smoke, although its very useful, although I suspect many people just have shite computers, and can't handle the reduction in fps.
Maybe we could consider changing the way scores are handled in cs, I would like assisted kills to appear, or map objectives, but blinding teammates and other poor moves should be a penalty issue, like teamkilling (although I think the sit-a-round-out solution doesn't work).
What do you lot think?
