Flame Wrought Ring and Band of Ice

Probably some of the rarest items in Midgard, just a few questions.

Band of Ice drops from Windswept Wraith, right ?

But what the hell drops the Flame Wrought Ring ?
Neither Allakhazam nor Mad-Troll list a mob/mob-type or specific area. Can't understand french but the comments for the Flame Wrought Ring sound as if Svarts could drop it too ?

Question I got is, what drops the FWR ?

If you got one, where from ?

Malmo drop very rare, I find one a week or so on my trips to malmo.

Malmo is big ... Execs ? Svart Infils ? Svart Bloodbinder ? Drak Attendants ? Axe Hands ? whut ? named mobs ?

Seen FWR's drop at the lair normal pull site. Ive also seen 2 fade away during my recent xping there because no-one was picking up the loot.

This current method of US style pulling is no good for midgard (xp is slower, people are emerging with level 50's with 1/3 the ammount of loot/gold they used to, and no experience of playing in grps having to CC and assist their team mates to defeat an enemy) It can be very good, but atm there are too many groups and too many leechers.

BoI's are dropped by chillsome's aswell.

Flamewrought ring is quite rare, seen it drop at lair a couple times from Execs/prots. Named malmo hunt might get one easier...

malmö drops aren't based on mobs, but on location.

attendants at lake drop totally different stuff then attendants near H-stones for instance.

For Band of Ice farming, you're best off with yourself, a healer and a darkness runie. Darkness runies do insane damage on wraiths and the healer takes care of adds, healing and general downtime lessener. There's up to 4 camps close to each other in Odin's, which imo is safer and easier then raumarik spawns (offcourse, if you're on a wowhunt and have 2 groups or sommat, go bring the RR a visit and kill all the wraiths and chillsome's near him)

FWR seems to drop most from execs/prot's E/SE of lair

Band of ice farming is just killing a lot of wraiths and being very lucky. Farmed for several hours but only one dropped so far. They are mostly easy orange cons so goes pretty quick down.

I've gotten 4 BoIs from Windswept Wraiths.

Other drops were 3 axes and a piece of chain. So pretty common for me. First one I got with my 2nd kill ever trying to farm for it...

I've gotten FWR from East of Lair ( theres a named mob there might wanna try him)
and BoI from the whights in Odins, by the old guard tower.

Boi is just luck really, me Kratt and Ottar camped for a couple of hours and got one each a few weeks ago. On the other hand FWR... rare as rocking horse shit.

Band of Ice drops from Orange con Wraiths (Level 52??) in Raumarik and Jamtlands/Odins

Most Flame Wrought Rings I've seen drop came from the purple exec's in the area between the lair and the Yar spawn.

I actualy traded a BoI for a FWR with Radorm many months ago, dont think any AVAILABLE FWR are left.

I did my 42-50 run in malmo the past 3 weeks or so - saw probably 6 FWRs drop during that time. If I'd known they were rare I would have grabbed one :/

FW Ring drops off level 59 Execs, and only those.

Level 57 ones drop FW Cloak, and the level 61 ones drop the FW Belt.

All got 1.7% chance of dropping, so in average every 60th kill should drop one.

Orange con spawn of wraiths East of Hildskaff is the BEST place to farm BoI as ALL Wraiths in that spawn are orange and the respawn is freaking fast. Get your booty to that spawn I say.

and Laromia I assume 59 Exec = red con? everyone on IGN I asked told me Red Con to 50 Execs ONLY drop the FWR??

When i introduced it to mid/exc (we are/were sorely outgunned back then (maybe still is.. haven been back for a while )) and although all were happy for not sitting on the hill waiting, but the xp-whores complained on xp/kill so it never got off the ground, but as i understand it your doing it?

Yes - meaning that they only drop the ring, and not the belt or the cloak. Not that it's the only drop (if only )
