flame / maw group today 5pm BST

Quite simple really; to finish off the path of focus epic quests, the last two kill-tasks are Flame, and then the Great Green Maw in CF. These are both possible with a balanced fg so I'm going to try and organise one today. Anyone who needs to do steps 17 or upwards of the quest is welcome; we'll go to the leprechauns first so that you can kill Luriquay. The whole thing can be done in one go as you don't have to leave CF between step 17 and the end of the quest. Meet at cain at 5 if you're interested please, and remember we need a minimum of one balanced group, so guildies are welcome if they just want to come along for the ride

Oh by the way BST is 1 hour behind CET

did this the first evening after the patch with epic armour with a group of 2 wardens, 1-2 eldritch 3-4 heros and 1 ranger. No deaths afair. So it's pretty much doable in an unbalanced group aswell.

Tho, Luriquay was a bottleneck as you had to kill him one time for each member who needed it. atleast back then. respawntime was 10-20 min and there was a group there already when we got that far ...

Surely if each person gets in a hit on Luriquay, they all get credit?

For me it has to be 5pm BST im afraid, as I have to go out about an hour and a half later. With sorting the group out, running around etc, that's roughly how long I'm expecting this to take.

I did mine on the night of the patch. There were 2 groups ahead of us, think we had to w8 around 3 hours for our turn.

Gahladirs right about the leppy being a pain. Have to do it once for each person and wait a bit for the repop.

p.s. I used to love doing these epic things in CF, I probably have the record for killing Maw, done it for about 25 different peoples focus epics so far. If your short on people then shout me.

Flame will aggro from miles, make sure you have resits up and are prepared, try and tank him away from the healers / nukers will help to avoid his AOE dot which is really his only threat after his suprise attack.

Maw divides after you hit him once, If your party is looking a bit shoddy by then, then a mezz or two will help.

imo neither of these need a fg anymore, make sure you have a warden, and a decent main tank at the core of your group and youll do fine.
