Fix the Goddamn Servers!!

Wtf is the problem over there? Three days now there has been problems with the log in servers, horrible lag, and repeated mass LDs.

Get on it and fix the goddamn things already!!

My god, what crap company. Dont even post to aknowlege the problems are being looked into!

The problem ain the servers it the internet. You're getting lag? there is a post from Kemor (that's one of GOA's staff by the way) where you can post some details to help them to get the issue sorted ok.

That is the biggest bunch of crap i have read in a bit.

You are wrong.

Why would you get more lag from more peeps in one zone then? Same number in game, same online. It is partly game code, partly bandwidth, and partly servers. GOA has control over two of those things...the servers erroring is TOTALLY GOA's ball and they drop it all the goddamn time.

Today yet another raid turned into one big goddman lag fest. Mass LDs across europe, etc. And it aint just me over on this end, buddy boy.

Fact is that GOA sucks, and the techs they have have to go to Mythic every time there is a damn problem...what Mythic should have done is just opened their own office over in England or something as then at least they could communicate since GOA cant be arsed to hire anyone who speaks english...but oh well.

no hes correct, i never get LD but i've been " luckly " to be involved in at least 3 mass LD's in the last week or so. Lets face it GOA cant be arsed with the english servers, we dont even have GM's on.

the reason some zones are worse than others, is not GOAs fault.

Thats Mythic. its their code that cant handle many people in the same zone.

The reason some people have lag, and others dont, is not GOAs fault. its the general latency of the internet, that treats some worse than others.

The reason the loginservers sometimes fail, is partly due to the large ammount of people trying to login at the same time. Not sure if GOA can do anthing about that.

The reason we dont have GMs in the game all the time, is because we have out-of-game CS, RightNow, which work btw.
im pretty sure the french and the germans doesnt have online GMs either. if they do, these are probably not doing their job


the reason the SERVER crashes (which it rarely do), _could_ be GOAs fault. rumour has it though, that particularly 1.52 has crash and lag issues (which mythic also had), that nobody can pinpoint the source of. It magically cleared itself in 1.53 though.

GOA fukking sucks ass and should be flushed like the peice of crap it is and the business picked up by someone who knows what the hell they are doing and is willing to have some decent equipment/staff run the thing.

God i hate brownosers who dont know crap trying to pretend they do, especially when it is just to make excuses for fuckoffs like those dikking us around for the last goddamn WEEK!!

The theory of "too many peeps trying to log in at once" is also total crap since i log in at 7pm my time (which is 3am to you guys) and get the same msg. It is totally random near as i can tell. You gonna try and play it off that hundreds of people just suddenly got the urge to play DAoC at 3am??

Check that thread and others scattered round youll see the same results. The bouncing dont happen till the word "Wannadoo" appear. Even for a change Opentransit (French routing hosts) are not blame, for thos who dont know they are in serious financial trouble.
