Last night went to Emain for some chugging around the frontier. Mostly guildmates in group. Another group of Albs was wandering about as well and we sometimes were together, sometimes doing our own thing.
Lots of nice fights against Mids and Hibs. Only lvl45 at the moment, with DF armour and various random drops, no ToA stuff (yet).
Had an absolute whale of a time. Helped to be in a nice group that knew what they were doing when really I have absolutely no idea. Its all that plate armour you know, does things to the head.
Encountered Mids in 1-2 groups and Hibs about same though ended I think with 2-3FG Hibs smearing us. Some naughty NS hanging around AMGE that jumped off when I went up onto BM to say hello. Funny fight on stairs of AMGE with a kobby that just wouldn't bloody die, though thats partly because I'm not exactly Teh Ultimate Deathdealer (TM).
Went from a couple of hundred RP to RR2L0 in a very short time. Mastery of Blocking 2 will be very nice to help with the last 5 levels thanks
I've only ever played casters or support before, but this was an absolute hoot. Can't really do any damage, just stand in the way of things that want to do damage. Though trolls do look so much prettier after they've had a large shield shoved into their face.
Not uber, not going to be but I notice that its trendy to complain how bad things are all the time when, really, its not. You'll get good sessions and bad ones.
Look forward to seeing you all out and about a lot more when I hit 50 with my Troll Beautification Device.
