That was pet pull, indeed a good question.

I must say that our group was one without tanks, yes there was one Champion but he was asked not to intervene "too much".
The mages did their damage when the pet had sufficient aggro. The healers,... well, they healed mostly only the pet. The reason why we died a few times was because one of the mages did some high damage too soon.

1. Is the xp really as good as people say?
it's ok, from lvl 45 or so
there are much better places for xp tho (camp bonus, outpost bonus)

2. Do I do a /who cursed forrest ect and then msg people about list?
ask in /gu first, or if u're in HoF alliance, on /as
kinda gets irritating if u're in CF and u get pms every 2 seconds about the fins list

3. So I'm on the list, but what now? Do I just sit in innis and wait for people to pick me up when im ready or should I go wait somewhere else? Or xp in EZ whilst waiting?
play an alt or craft, don't waste other people's time by joining a group that you may have to leave at a moment's notice to go join crappy fins

imo fins are nowhere near worth the wait or hassle

rather put together groups yourself for EZ, DF, Marfach, TS or Fomor.. it's a great way to get to know more people, and while it may be frustrating initially, once u get a core of good players, you can get a group going quickly, and you can xp at different places, getting to see more of Hibernia, and getting better camp bonus, thus alleviating some of the tedium of xp.

Surely the advantage of Fins is that everyone knows where to go to get the groups.

All these other places people have mentioned might be very good areas - but if you're looking for a group, you're not going to know whether people are creating a xp group for a perticular place or not.

How would people get others involved if they suddenly decided to go to Siab city?? Short of sending a couple of /AS messages I cant see how any - (non guild) group could get off the ground :(

For level 38-43 ish, go to Innis and make a group, then head to the Bog of Cullen to do Black Wraiths. At 43 ish you can handle Banshees in the bog of cullen or Knights in EZ easily enough. For 45+, Siabra City or Knights in EZ is good xp. All these groups can be made in Innis.
Too many people reach level 40 and think their only and best option is to wait and wait in the fins list. The xp is better and quicker in the bog/EZ/SC at those levels. There's a real slow down after Coruscating Mine cos of the lack of people wanting to make the effort to make a group in innis. If more made the effort, these groups would be easier to make and we all get to 50 a great deal quicker.

I see that as it's worst problem - it engenders the concept of other people making groups etc, which then falls through to rvr where so many people seem to have the attitude of "let someone else organize it"

Just do it the same way Matinex used to organise SC/EZ trips:

/cg invite Armolas Nafta Yzer Miss etc. etc.
/c Meet in innis we're going to SC/EZ/wherever

(P.S. replace those names with people you know about your level as me nafta yzer miss etc. don't need the exp any more thanks).
