A few small adjustments, and a big dose of more housing!

Dark Age of Camelot
Test Version 1.72g Release Notes
Fallen Barriers
October 19, 2004

===================================

NEW THINGS AND BUG FIXES

- All concentration buff spells have been changed to be non-interruptable. This minor change is being made to make it slightly easier for buffing classes to rebuff players while in PvE or RvR combat.

- We've increased the values of the self Armor Factor buffs in the Hunter's Beastcraft and Ranger's Pathfinding lines. These spells should now be comparable with a specline AF buff instead of baseline. With this change, these AF buffs will now stack with baseline buffs from Seers and Naturalists. The spell lines affected are Lynx's Pelt in Beastcraft and Invincibility in Pathfinding.

- All Enchanter pets will now wear cloaks.

- All Spiritmaster pets that wear armor will now wear cloaks.

TRADESKILL UPDATES

- Midgard Alchemy - The Herbcraft skill requirement for weapon lusters has been reduced to 987. This brings the Midgard weapon luster recipes in line with Albion and Hibernia.

FOUNDATIONS NOTES

- We are happy to introduce a new housing zone for each realm with this version. Albion players can now construct their homes in Wendover, while Midgard players can now settle in Holmestrand, and Hibernians can now stake their claims in Tullamore.

the spec af for hunters and rager finally stack with baseline and not interrupteble buffs sound good for keep takes.

Originally taken from the Camelot Crasher

All Animist pets will now wear a cloak.

All Theurgist pets will now wear a cloak and sport the latest in bacofoil and coconut fashions.

These changes will help to make servers crash more regularly.
Goody. Pets with cloaks = more lag = more LDs = more whine. Nice move.

And slowly the few remaining unique features of each realm disappear. Albion had spec AF - but now some non-Alb classes get it too.

Give it another year or so all Alb/Mid/Hib classes will be identical

As long as Mercs get the ability to quad hit, I'll be happy!

Even 100% chance to dual wield would be ok...

Ranger/Hunter AF buffs were supposed to stack from the get go!. The fact its taken 3 years for mythic to fix it and you/albs still complain. Come on m8 give it a rest.

Based on what? I see no documentation dating back anything like 3 years saying they should stack - just folks guessing & whining.

like wise there's no documentation (official) saying they shouldn't. Have you read the TL reports or better yet the post's on critshot.com

Ranger/Hunter AF buffs have been bugged since forever. The only time in the past 3 years they have even been usefull to a level 50 is prior to epic armour getting added, because before that they actually did something just like baseline AF buffs now. They do jack shit for people in 100% quality armour but add a minor AF boost to those who are not (god help them).

Hunter's and to some extent ranger's complained for years about how crap there secondary lines were. Often having very little return for the spec points used to get them high level. Now after 3 years of this and Mythic fixing a long standing bug you complain about it. Jesus F*****g C****t gimme a break!

At least Bob has unique graphics. The only problem really is Amber Bob's casting animation which is silly to say the least!

Wouldn't it be nice though if Spiritmasters had proper scary looking ghosts they summoned instead of boring see-through versions of players.

Also for the enchanter pets the devs had obviously run out of ideas / time, by making the pets have the exact same graphics as their owners! It would be cool if they had enchanted objects they summoned - think how much fun it would be getting chain snare nuked by an enchanted chair or something!

I agree the GoA Halloween thing they did was excellent - they should send some screenshots of what they did to Mythic to give them ideas!

uhm every class could get the AF charges on items, which afaik doesnt stack with spec, but does stack with base af buff. So it has never really been an alb only thing. It also never really made much sense to make the hunter+ranger buff not stack with the base af buff, as in most cases they already get the buff and as said the base af buff doesnt do a thing when you hit your af cap.
Besides them getting some more AF wont really make them more irritating as that is caused by ranged attack+stealth and not their defense(which is pretty poor).
