In my experience FF has always been fairly unplayable on the PC, so it amounts to the same thing

The memory restrictions in consoles are starting to show their ugly head a lot more now.

Shame they can't do what Nintendo did with the N64, release an expansion memory pack that you plug in lol

You know how easy it would be to engineer a console with a high speed memory expansion slot? No?

Was a great emotional game for sure, probably the best RPG on the 360.

The next generation of consoles should do it, doubling the memory on the existing generation of consoles could add 2 years or more onto thier lifespan imo and it is worth the manfucaturing investment to make it happen.

I played the first disc of lost odyssey, however it wasn't something for me. It gave me the same "look at me, i'm cute <3<3" feeling, that FFX gave me (the only final fantasy game I've put more than 10 hours into)

But then again, RPG is not my genre. Especially not JRPG's.

I'd love to play a jrpg that doesn't conflict with my horribly little patience one day though.

Yeah it started out not as good as it could have. It gets sooo much better though, and the Thousand Years of Dreams short stories really makes the game, very well written indeed.

I came to a place with two young girls on a field, who were crying because somebody had threatened to cut their flowers. My mission was then to kill the badguys. WTF :/

It's just the genre that isn't for me I guess. The Thousands years of dreams short stories are very good though.

afterwards is surprisingly well done for a game.
