Final Fantasy XI (Online!)

Is anyone going to give this a go? I've already pre-ordered it because
I love Final Fantasy
I love Chocobo's
I love Airshops
I love the FF card game
Its got the job system which made Final Fantasy Tactics so great!

Having quit CS and waiting for the good games to come out early next year, I might give this a go, I gave up on FF a while back but proper multiplayer = fun.

Oh yeah, its been out for donkeys in japan, so we get the game
+ the expansion in one \o/.

Yeah, the class system looks really interesting. There are no race restrictions so in theory you can become anything (although some would be more effective than others) Also it features the Guardion Forces from the FF rpgs i.e. Ifrit/Shiva etc.
The graphics are excellent and they have a nice cartoony colourful thingy to them too.

Good thing its been out for a year or so in Japan so at least we wont be getting a 1/2 finished game *Cough Starwars Galaxies*

I have gripes with the name of the Title though. Why is an online version of FF called FF XI? It should be FF Online, then XII become XI.

Yeah, no news on the Euro version, but released next week in America. We will be using the same servers, so not much reason to wait really.

Elf make good fighters, unlike on DAOC. I think I am going to become a Human Dark Knight or a Dragoon thingy.
