Is it me or is it difficult to watch with the american accents? And is the translation slightly different to the one you could download before it go released?

Still a cracking film though

Same here. "Acquired" the divx copy and watched it a couple of times, then bought the DVD when it came out, but haven't watched the dubbed version yet.

Prefer the japanese version with subtitles, as I did with CTHD.

american dub is not as bad as it coulda been but all in all usa region1 and european reagion 2 dvds have preety bad subtitles compared to a few fansub groups take for example LMF thier subs for gits1/gits2/sac/2nd gig are far better than the ones on dvd we get.

Typo =( "Advent calender" should be "Advent Children" - Yes, the film IS better with Subtitles; just because a few scenes are a bit to... Slow for the voices.

what was the first ff film?

Advent children was brilliant to see all the characters again of a game once loved. However I hated the american voiceovers so cheesy and didn't suit the characters atall, looking forward to watching it again with subtitles. :)

And that's why the opinions of scunthorpe folk are ignored.

Yeah sorry about that, that's what happens when I post after drinking.
And as a Lincolnshire man I stand by both my statements.
