Final Fantasy 3 (and other DS stuff)

I got an import copy of this last weekend for the DS.

Oh my God, I'm hooked. Totally hooked. Almost as badly as Kirsty is hooked to Phoenix Wright.

Kirsty is hooked on the correct game, re-playing through the first pheonix wright now, and then I shall be taking the shiney plastic cover off the new one

I must get this. Looks like the first AAA title for the DS since NSMB.

Can't wait for FFTactics Advance 2, either.

I've only got to play the first case so far, Kirsty stole it away and won't give it back.

I've been planning on importing this for a while but heard it was for hard core FF fans only. If it's that good I might just go ahead and buy it.

It gets a UK release on my birthday (4/5) anyway. If you even vaguely liked FF7 you'll love this one.

It gets very grindy though. Once you work out that setting all your chars to do Defend against the weakest enemies for 4 or 5 rounds is the best way to build up job level then that's 20 or so hours of gametime accounted for at least.

The ending's not great either.

This has me thinking that I need a couple of new DS games.

I will already be purchasing CastlevaniaoR this weekend. Is there anything else worth buying just now?

I was thinking of lunar knights but I don't know anyone who has played it.

These are the games I would buy...

Puzzlequest, if you can find it in stock anywhere. A puzzle fighting roleplaying game that isn't Japanese. It looks like a laugh, if a little mental. There is a free PC demo you can try out. Though not owning a PC, I haven't.

Hotel Dusk is a strange looking game where you hold your DS sideways. Its a bit graphic novel, apparently. All I've heard about it is that it is very good.

And Phoenix Wright and the sequel.

I've got Lunar Knights. It's alright, I like the theme alot (vampires etc.). All in all one of the "better" DS games out atm
