Final Fantasy 11 anyone ...?

Final Fantasy 11 is out end of the month in US just wondering how many people will be moving over from daoc to it as its clearly the next best mmorpg
Imo most likely to be better than anything till 6 months away at least and yes i mean WoW which seems to be shaping up to be a Orcs and Humes DnD planetside and dragon empires which looks boring and everyday kinda DnD and all EQ2 which looks to have the nice high polygon charachters (hmm raids and framerates seyyyaaa...... ) and bare barren landscapes and any other mmorpg i can think of there hardly any that look to be much fun at the mo

it does look like a awesome game yes, but imo the next best mmorpg is going tobe dragon empires , if it ever comes out that is

tell me did DAOC ever do a free trail d/l ?planetside do one that gives u a free week and it seemed the clever thing to do instead of buying the game an dthen finding out u hate it ..hopefully the new games will offer d/ls and a free week

dragon empires looks ok but the crachters are a bit flat and boring imo .... horizons has peeked my interest and ryzam a little but being a big ff fan and seeing the in game graphs (which are nice but not the silly ott eq polys) and just knowing the kinda games ff are im really looking forward to it.
It does have the level treadmill but ff games have such depth and character i think the game will have much more content that daoc and some other mmors.
Its good though that were starting to enter the second generation mmors now.
All those things we want that well never get in current ones are filetering through nicely i.e im pretty sure ff11 has nps to sell your stuff when youve been out adventuring (yes this is in some mmors but the key thing is that the new ones will have this and all the other little nice bits rolled into one not like now where youve got features in some games and not others and vice versa tehres no "complete" mmors imo).

theres just nothing keeping me in daoc at all.
lack of content both leveling and rvr,
constant poor customer service,
outdated graphics,
bitchy whiny people and no more realm spirit at all.
Bring on FF and others

its supposed to be on PC and Ps2, also u will be able to play via PC against the peeps using PS2 afaik.

and then later on the little black box and yep you can play on pc on serve a and play on ps2 on server a.

when its released in america it actually comes with a small expansion pack called
Rize of The Zilart

theres a benchmark test for your pc on there website which shows a little ingame footage
im looking forward to teh combat system because it should be good if you go by the games

My sub on daoc is running out and i dont feel like playing it anymore and i like FF series so i am gonna try FF11. But WoW is the one i will be wating for.

Final fantasy >>> DAOC by a long way, just not long enough so an online version should be great, though i can see myself still playing after TOA comes out as i like the pve side of daoc.

lol yup, trust them to make it one big game, also i think there are 2-4 installtion CD's, so its going to be one Huge game ^_^

WoW looks the absolute dogs bollox! only thing catching my eye atm.. although methinks i needs an upgrade on my rams and gfx card

some awesome ideas there like the instances for quests.. so mobs aint camped. i like that, i like that lots and PvP is totally voluntary.. play how u wanna play
