Well, I finally realised that there really is more to life then DAoC, and have decided to join the ranks of many of my friends before me and give RL a shot.
I haven't played for quite a while, but I used to be somewhat addicted to the game, playing from the moment I got home from work to the moment I couldn't stay awake any longer knowing I've got work in the morning!
Some people might remember me for my ML raids, my item whoring, my helpfulness, good whit and being a general good guy. Others might remember me for being a thiefing, money grabbing whore who never helped anyone with anything. Both are probably true, but the people I let get close to me ingame know which one is the real me (the latter they all cry in unison ).
Well, whether you remember me or not, I'm trying to do my final bit as it were for the realm that was my home for all those years and sell off all of my treasures (well, not all of them, but most of em... got to give myself a comeback clause somehow ). This is being done in the shape of 3 FreddysHouse auctions, but they end today (25th Aug, 5pm UK Time).
Items Auction
Weapons Auction
Armour Auction
It seems strange that no one has asked why I'm selling these items and not giving them away as I'm leaving, but I have my reasons, and they are to make sure my house exists for quite a while longer and to make some of my friends who still play richer then they ever thought they could be ingame (with both money and items!). I'm even thinking about doing a Camelottery and giving away all of the money I earnt from the auction, but with the deadline of my subscription period ending very soon, I think I've left that idea a little late.
All thats left for me to say is thank you for entertaining me for the past 4+ years, both to Mythic and GoA for making such an addictive game, and thanks to all the people of Albion (and even a few from the other dirty realms!), past and present for making the game what it was for soooo long, enjoyable. Also I'd like to give special thanks to the select few who got to know me, and I'd concider my friends. You know who you are!
Long live Unclaimed... Long live Albion... Long live Dark Age of Camelot!!
