o.k. bit sad this but our local radio has a competition going where you have to guess the film from a bit of dialogue. I'm not entering but it's driving me mad as this quote has been going for about 4 weeks with no correct guesses so see if any of you peeps know it:

The line is : "I reject that on principal" spoken by a man. I won't say which actors he sounds like as it'll probably influence you in the wrong direction.

There have been two clues so far:

frequency
cheeky

those are the two clues.

k thx

"Roads? Where we're going, we don't need.....roads".

Doesn't help at all, but it's a class line :D

"You can't steal a warehouse; it's big, it's heavy, it's stuck to the ground." :D

As unlikely as this is, I google'd the quote and it produced this, but I doubt it's especially helpful/right. :)

Well I'll try and mp3 it sometime....

To give you an idea of the way this guys mind works the last really long running question was given the following clues ( i can't remember the quote)

Loadsamoney
main guy has two oscars
bond girl in it
honeymoon suite (not quite right but something like)

and the answer turned out to be Million Dollar Hotel

so the loadsamoney and suite clues where such that if you had thought of the title the clues would have been obviously right, know what I mean?

So if we can guess the title it will be immediately obvious that it's right, there will be no "could it be?...." etc.

I like the idea of High Fidelity but the other clues (cheeky, good tale -tail (?)) just don't work.

O.k. I got the film and it was guessed by someone the next day :(

the clues were:

Cheeky
frequency
Tuned in
a small tale (tail?)
none of your business.

The last one gave it really.

And the answer was........

Private Parts!

Thanks for tying that up lester, but can some help me out explaining where "frequency" and "tuned in" are any help what so ever.

Although me never having heard of the film probably didnt help :)

Howard Stern is a famous NY Radio DJ (It was his life story to an extent)

Hope this clears things up
