Hmm, Underworld for me :) Although, I think Narc, PotC, Master & Commander, Kill Bill and Buffalo soldiers where all very good.

RotK was very disappointing in my eyes, the matrix revolutions was also. Reloaded was good, but not a top film in my eyes.

You actually *shudder* liked The Matrix Reloaded?! Poor fool.

You can't even acknowledge people have different opinions? Poor fool.

The thought Reloaded was excellent (apart from the whole Zion scene), I just thought Revolutions was even better.

While pirates and rotk were decent films they are by no means the pinnacle of film making.

In all honesty I haven't found one film this year that really grabbed me by the balls but if I had to vote I'd say:

Lost in Translation
Punch drunk love

and maybe Narc.

That film does look good. I have been meaning to go and watch that.
But first is RoTK which I should get around to seeing next weekend!

Finding Nemo, Lotr was what I expected. I thought that Finding Nemo would be too childish, but it wasnt.

Thats what I like about the pixar films, particuarly Fdining Nemo and Monsters Inc. Yes, they're essentially kids films but they're amusing and interesting to all ages.

I've changed my mind. Amelie is now my favourate film of this year (dunno if it was in the cinemas in 2002 or 2003). I watched it last night, I don't recall smiling and laughing so much at any film beforehand. Beautiful, absolutely gorgeous. Every single shot was perfect. And god damn is Amelie pretty.

Amelie was actually 2001.

Yes, it was shown in the cinemas here in 2001.

Of course.

Plus it deserves all the praise you can give it.

Amelie rocks. I've never seen a film that is just so life affirming.
