Um, fileplanet only works for people living in the US, Italy, and surrounding countries. Something to do with the fact that they have s*** connections to everywhere else. If you want a map from fileplanet, email the developer and get him to send it to you.

Actually if your lucky enough to be on Telewest their fileplanet mirror usually smacks the shit outta the others, although that aint hard cos all the others are piles of wank.

Hence me saying if your on Telewest, ie are using BlueYonder, because they probably severly limit its use for non users not on Telewest ISP's. I can assure you though that it does work as its the only fileplanet mirror i genrally use now.

the only one that usually works for me is the new one which lets you "queue" for the file. :/

The Fileplanet FTP mirror was often the only one that worked (after a 5 minute pause) and then it would use the default IE downloader rather than GoZilla which was a pain on ISDN with big files. Not so bad with ADSL cos if I lose the connection I just restart and it won't take that long but still fucking annoying, shoddy shite

Check this out: go to www.barrysworld.com/games/quake3
then take the link to the Catch the Chicken site. If you try to download CTC from there, it sends you to fileplanet. And fileplanet sux bigtime.
