File EXtensions

Im writing a config file for my binds etc etc in CS.

I have started writing it in notepad and would like to test it but I cant seem to remember how to change it from a *.txt file to a *.cfg

Im using XP Pro.

Hit F2 with it selected and change the name.

If that doesnt work, go to tools>Folder options and uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types" then do what i said above.
