*Jeros shakes his head but pulls out two books

"One is the tome of google and the other is the tome of yahoo, they will give you the answer you seek! Choose one!"

Will you:

Choose Google? go to p635

Choose Yahoo? go to p329

Attack Jeros? go to p476

Leave the cell and return the sanitarium hallway? p127

Yeah.

The arrow thuds into the side of the boat. You row as hard as you can towards the far bank, but you are still within range of the Dark Elf's arrows. You watch him string his bow again and fire.

Test your luck

If you are lucky, turn to 32.
If you are unlucky, turn to 239.

The sorcery ones were interesting iirc
There was a spell list at the back with spells you had to memorise
Or just cheat and look at them

I did see a text based version of the lone wolf books a few years back

Got loads still some where - used to love em.

The books are still selling on ebay, some of the ones from later in the series sell for a reasonable amount of money.

Mustn't have seen that cover in 20yrs, but remembered it as soon as saw ur post. Used to have a few, but around a certain age got embarressed by them, and either slung them all or got rid of em at the local charity shop. Shame be fun to have a look thru them again. Bet that's a collectors item and costs a bit on ebay.

Just looking at that front cover (Crown of Kings) - the bloke with the horns - can't work out who he reminds me of. Brian May ? The bloke from Doctor and the Medics ? Tohtori ?

i still have in my old room at my parent's house some of the AD&D fighting fantasy books. iirc:

- The curse of the werewolf
- Final challenge (presenting the famous Raistlin at the twrs of wizardy)
- The vampire of the shadows (vs the dreaded Strahd von Zarovich)

ahhhh the memories...
