Anybody tried this utter pile ofcack of from the beeb yet ? Its probably a bit unfair to call it cackas I cant download the bloody thing. I contacted one of their support staff and they thought that my PC spec wasnt good enough

XP Pro
XP2100+
1Gig DDR RAM
nForce 2 Mobo
80Gig HDD

By all accounts the code is riddled to high heaven. Countless download problems. Woefull feedback on the boards overthere

Anybody got any experience of this ?

The minimum required system specifications to run FightKit is as follows:


OS: Windows XP/2000/98SE (Windows 95/98/NT not supported)
CPU: 500 MHz Intel Pentium III or AMD Athlon processor (or equivalent)
RAM: 128 MB
Video: 32 MB AGP video card using the Nvidia GeForce 2, ATI Radeon 7500, or more recent chipset with DirectX 8.1 compatible driver

I don't understand how it can possibly work. I mean, Namco and Sega still find it one hell of a struggle to make a decent fighting engine and they're the world leaders in the field. How can the BBC possibly put something decent together.

But it's a good idea, and I wait with bated breath.

I played it earlier. It lasted a record amount of time on my hard-drive; 4 minutes.

Im quite excited bout this cus i was into robot wars and its trying to be similar i take it, dont knock it folks its still in its early days, im right up for appearing on telly :chortle:
