Anyone gonna try this?
Not sure if you have to be in the UK but it's being run by the BBC and it's some weird online thing where you build your own robot warrior, do some training and then you get to fight other people when you think you're good enough (and when it's finished, only one training event is available at the moment). In a few months they're gonna get the best ranked people and make a TV show of it
I got it, built a middleweight robot and tried the combat training and wow! I thought it was utter crap!
hehe maybe I'm doing something wrong on it but it's like... *let me slowly walk towards this robot shooting me with a laser* *get shot by laser* *ok I'm now near him, let me swing a punch - punches robot* *gets shot by laser* *robot goes behind me* *ok let me slowly turn round, miss with a kick and then slowly walk towards robot shooting me with a laser*
repeat
Maybe I'm just crap, maybe I'm missing out on some major aspect of it but it's just not even responsive when you wanna do anything on it.
Anyway, d/l it and see what you reckon.
