Anyone managed to win the Blitzball Champs final against the Goers?

As far as i can tell it is near impossible. Any tips on how to win or should i just accept defeat.

Graav on the other team has stupidly high stats and if you come up againt him it is hardly worth bothering with.

I got a Strength Sphear.

Not really worth it since i have about 20 whichi can't use yet anyway.

waste of time. they are ten a penny later in the game.

ya think ya'd get some special weapon or somit.

weapons are silly prices in this :/ i dunno what the deal is, in previous final fantasies i coped fine, but these, hmm i dunno.

nope, iv'e had assignments to do and stuff. it is definitely a very special game though... i really like it, and i didn't think i would when i saw all the previews and stuff...

i'm only about 13/14 hours in.... at mushroom rock ridge where this massive fuck off sinspawn with big sodding arms is attempting to maim me.

/me twats it with Valefor & Ifrit.

what's the total playtime?
from what i remember the one i came really close to completing, before experiencing third party memory card failure, was final fantasy 7 at around 120 hours.

never ever buy anything but sony memory cards.

I am 20 Hours in to the game.

Tis VERY good, thing I love about FF games is that the characters are very well done. Have almost no complaints about this game.
