I just tried to log on and downloaded the US patch and cant log on
WTF do I solve this.

PS. #!%¤!"#! Goa ¤#%"%/(¤ GOA ¤%#¤¤#/ finger out!!!

they also have a technical help section.
the answers can be found in both of those sections in about 20 different posts.

Tried that. Found nothing so far.
And what search words did you use??
I tried: patch; update; US; problems; and many more.

open update.dat (in your daoc/SI folder) with notepad.. delete the stuff inside and paste:

Mythic Patch
193.252.123.21:1280/updates/english/isles/mpatch.dat
193.252.123.21:1280/updates/english/isles/mpatch.dat

I believe it's mythic's fault not GOA's

Hard to see how it is GoA's fault that you do not have the braincells nor the patience to solve this problem.
It has been mentioned countless times on this forum, it has been mentioned in the friday news by GoA, and by going to rightnow, and using patch in the search, you will find the answer...

I far as I've heard it's down to self-repair code in part of the program that legally GoA can't touch.
GoA have done pretty much all they can to solve this problem save nailing a notice to your monitor.

What i do is make a copy of my update file and put it in a dir that i dont use much. Then if i get made to patch i just delete the one in the SI folder and copy over the one that i know is right.

who's fault is it he get's patched to US in the first place? I'd say GOA

well as its been stated befor this bit's hard coded into DAoC for it to auto try the US servers if it cant find the ones in its update.bat

I searched for Pathcing problems, and Cant connect. I also chose to include Fuck you GOA in the optional words section and i found 6 or 7 threads ont the first page alone.
