Ferrari F50 crash

Ok, check out this clip..

The above crash has left me completely perplexed.

Forgetting the obvious considerable monetary damage caused, I don't understand why an F50, travelling at what appears to be a reasonably slow speed, skids for 6+ seconds, whilst the driver turns the wheel more than 3 times (3 times for a lock on an F50??) and it just goes straight.

Something doesn't add up at all.

Any thoughts?

Ferraris handle like dogs.

Just play Need for Speed and you'll see. ;)

It goes straight on despite what the driver is doing with the wheel, because he has panicked and is pressing as hard as he can on the non-abs brake pedal.

Though Lester's right, it looks like the guy he hits falls off the left side of the bonnet on the early clips, and the right side in the later one.....

In the second clip the car goes straight into the garage but in the first he goes sideways. He also turns the steering wheel nearly 3 full turns to the right which is impossible right?

It's a fit-up.

the campari banners in the 2nd part of the clip are backwards!
explains why the guy looks like he rolls off the right of the f50.
why would they edit the clip??

Dunno but they have.

Also the clip from the outside shows the wheels facing straight when he has clearly put them in full lock on the driver-cam shot.

Now for the magic bullet.......

The first clip is being played in slow-motion. Watch the guy fly over the bonnet, you'll see what I mean. I bet the car was doing 30mph at the time.

I've been to monaco on several occasions, that drop in the harbour is a hell of a height.
