Bah, bloody Albs. Why do you need to take Fensalir. Hmmm, how many defender was it this time????

We were a bit bored last nite.... Emain was one big zerg as usual... about 3 or 4 to 1 hibs to albs...
We took Bled, Nott, Blendrake, Glenlock first and started on Arvakr... some mids showed up stopping us from taking Arvakr and took Blend and Glenlock back... When we ported back we ran around and couldnt find the mids anymore... So got bored again... Our ram builder said she wanted to smash something expensive and Fensalir's doors were pretty high so that keep was next
No defenders there as I guess the mids had given up retaking their keeps and gone back to bed... 7 of us with 2 rams did easy work on that place...
All in all it was a very enjoyable nite Thanks to the mids who came to retake keeps... we wondered how many we would have to take before mids spawned.. (took 4 then they came
Only about 2-1 with mids vs us so much better odds than what we had in emain earlier

Sometimes I wonder if its even worth claimign a keep, the nonchelant attitude to defence is apalling, and I for one am sick of spending my hard earned money to repair/upgrade doors.
Repaired our level 6/7 dpor to 50% after SotL were bashing it, logged off around midnite cos I had work, now I hear it was all in vein. Guess I have to look at my own guild members more than anyone, but being Fens, being so close to Uppland, I really think the excuse is poor for most of em

90% of the time you just see Albion has just take xxxxxx. Will be good with the patch that allow you to see when a keep guard dies. But still if you are in Emain it wills till take atleast 20 min to the keep, and if the got a few rams up the would be inside by then. Would be cool if you could have a bind stone in guild claimed keep, so you just could die and get there. But guess thats to much to ask.

Don't worry... there there there...... I won't come bash your doors tonight, ok? Instead, I'll level to 50, train Dragongfang, get my epic armour for the final envenom boost I need, all ready for our next meeting

Also why stop a bindstones, you should really have a range of customisable options for guild keeps to make them more desirable. EG. the ability to install crafting facilities in any keep, the ability to make the guards decent, etc. etc. Myself and Gideon talked this through the other day but I forgot half the ideas.

In 1.53, you get a message when a guard of your claimed keep is killed. You can log chars there then, and defend when it gets attacked. So it does have a better use later on

2 nights ago when we saw the keeps falling, I was about to log off. We gathered at Gral and sent out scouts. About 20 albs running about were the reports.
So off we went to get our keeps back.
It was damned good fun that battle in the trees near Glenlock I think it was. I was at half power from the stuff I was doing while retaking Glen so went into the fight not at full capacity. Spoiled a few people's day then went down in melee against a highlander. Yep I had to take out my big stick and actually sully my hands with actual melee.
We got rezzes taken care of and it was back to door bashing.
We took 2 keeps back but everyone was really tired and pretty much logged after that.
Was good fun though

We were about 12 albs if you mean the battle at Blendrake (the keep you went to take after Glenlock .. and aye was a big mess but still a bit of fun down there in the trees After we ported back to odins we spent ages looking for where you guys went off to (you had just retaken blendrake)... And when we couldnt find any mids to play with (our numbers had dwindled to about 7 at this time to do people going sleep) thats when we went to Fensair... We were sure if we attacked that keep you guys would come out to play with us again... But alas, no one showed so we logged after the taking of that keep as well..Wyleia Mythweaver
