Feeling Mugged?

Its a question i ask myself everytime i reach for that credit card, Why do i pay £8 a month (Or whatever the case maybe) to listen to a load of whines (In and out of game), And hear nothing but Nerf this, Nerf that?!?!? Then find myself asking why am i still playing??! Maybe addiction?!? But to what?!?! Theres hardly no balance in the game (RvR wise), And whats the deal with buffbots?!? What if someone had a buffbot player in Counter Strike which give you Aimbot/Wallhack?!? CHEAT!!!! /Kicked and banned by console!!! I thought gaining unfair advantage over other players was classed as cheating?!? (Please flame away i dont give two f**ks)

This aint a moan, Basically, What im trying to get at is why do you guys/gals still play even though so much crap is in the game?!?
Too many good people seem to be quitting, And its 90% of the time because of the game!!!

Yeh have to say i have no problem paying my £8, the game is what u make of it, yes there are ppl crying nerf all the time and u will always get whiners, but if u join a good guild and play the game the way u want to then i cant see why u would not have fun. As for balance in the game, Mythic claim they r dealing with it, and i am personnaly hoping we see some changes in 1.65 "Balance patch" and in the RvR exspansion.

Dont be a sheep, play the game how u want to, spec your chars how u want to, and just have fun and ignore the whiners. Also hlps to have a small group of ppl that u play with reglularly that enjoy doing same stuff u do but that aint always easy to find.

Couldnt agree more, Im not whineing about it, I love the game for the fun it brings, But i find myself asking why?!? Im not sure if the fun is enough to meet the Whines/Nerfs, People can be so nasty in the game, And since /level has come in 1-19 is a knightmare for people who have just got the game, Its amazing how stupid GOA/Mythic (Whichever the case) must be, Surely it was just lame excuse to keep the people with lvl 50,s entertained and still playing. Im in ASq, Cant fault any of them, And not one bad word to say about any of them. Sounds petty, And im probs not the only one, But i get ate up and grumpy over some things in the game, And i feel im reminding myself its just a game, Whines and Nerfs jus dont help, Which i think is leading to alot of good people to stop playing

Just here becouse a lot of friends are here. Game was ruind when SC was introduced. Now I just hope WoW comes fast so I can leave this hell-hole that is created.

Im with you on that, But theres also good things on these forums i enjoy reading, Such as 'Gratz Threads' Which are very respectful to those who deserve a mention, Its not just the forums though is it, Its in game aswell, Specially when its things that cant be avoided Maybe a 'Whine/Nerf' Only Forum should be made (Probs been sugested before)? When will the time come when all the good people leave because of crap that can easily be avoided?

we are 9 irl friends in my guild, and now most of us are spread around in the country (denmark), all moved away from our hometown to study elsewhere, and daoc is just a real good place to talk to each other, ofc u could use msn etc. but that aint as exciting

and meeting people from all around europe + some other countries, and infact playing an overall great mmorpg compaired to others i tried.
