Erm, for ages, it's just been broken.

he was able to temporarily charm a frost stallion because he had 62 spec in instruments :>
Not exactly your average run-of-the-mill specced minstrel, that...
plus it negates speed/stealth/mezz if you have charm running, twisting is a pain and it breaks your drums on an hour basis

Also, that's an anecdotal account... how many times have you died to a minstrel's pet on Excal in your own experience?

Err, anecdotal ? Are those screenshots faked then ?

I expect to see more minstrels doing this in the future, as I imagine many of them will spec away from stealth, max instruments and weapon.

To my knowledge, Minstrels and Mentalists are the only classes capable of charming pets up to that level as their charm is spec based. Lvl60 pets must be a bummer when pulse fails though

Noone can hold on to a lv 60 pet very long; as stated the guy was owned when the pulse was resisted For those Hibs/Mids who don't know what Cail Guards are, they're very nasty female tincans rin Lyonesse
