being a curious bunny I'm curious as to what you guys favourite custom maps are for CS/TFC and the like.....

answers on a postcard please or a reply, either is good

de_seaside is the best CS custom i've played, allthough i've had some fun on de_aldi.

Whatever you do, dont play a map called 'de_tomb' (i think that's it), because it's awful. It's scary, dark, and confusing :/

edit: I'm getting confused. de_tomb is a map set around a piramid i think. It's a great map, what i was thinking of is called something differant :/ They both come in the same German map pack though.

Dunno, CS sites i spose. I got a load of customs in 2 large map packs(and i mean large. Unzipped there was over 100megs between them) which i needed to play on my old regular server. Of course the server died soon after it went custom maps, and most custom map servers do the same. Joe Average just refuses to play customs. The funny thing is, sometimes the same Joe moans he's bored of the maps, and wants new ones in the next patch :sleeping:

hrm, favourite custom map is probably one i made myself with one big light in the center otherwise its total darkness... a good test of nerves and sound-cards

other than that jeepathon is an amusing map... except with scum gaywm-ers.

Try de_bridge its good 4 a lol It has 2 drivable trucks, 2 stereos and a helicopter gunship who could ask 4 more cept mebe low grav.

Best place I've found for downloading maps is here as it allows you to keyword-search for the map you want.

Let me know if peeps can suggest a better one.
