What is your favourite type of cheese and why?

I quite like Cheddar myself, but not really that fussed when it comes to cheese as long as its not got blue stuff sprouting out of it.

In a sandwich its gotta be a mature cheddar with branston pickle or a red onion relish, simply delish'.

After a nice supper when the wine has been flowing can't beat a good Stilton or Roquefort (sp?) with crackers and grapes. Some nice old tawny port to wash it down with and not in those thimbles, pint glasses ;).

Aye I put on my slippers and get the Whiskey out. Don't smoke - never have, was in to sport too much to care for it. What can I say I'm an old git and dinner parties tend to get a bit posh out here. But I also like roughing it in the local Irish bar and watching the rugger/footy.

Mmmm Feta, gotta be with olives, goes nice with paprika sprinkled on too. Or just shove it with pasta and pesto

Anyone tried Haloumi cheese - I can recommend it sliced and fried (no oil) in a pan or cubed on a stick with veg/meat at a BBQ.

Soo many cheeses to choose from. All the cheeses mentioned above are nice. Difficult to choose ones that stand out. Have to agree a nice creamy Feta is superb amd great with olives and a salad.

There's a nice cheese with jalapenos I've tried is awesome. Also Feta with salad/olives is nice. Brie in a baguette is pretty damn good too. Cheddar is fine as long it's strong.

As long it goes down with a decent bottle of wine it's all good :)

Had some really weird french cheese today (in French Class). Was kinda nice, but not sure if I actually liked it or hated it :).

I can still smell the stuff on my hands after about 6 hours of eating it.
