Greetings.
It is with mixed feelings I'm writing this. I have just now cancelled my account with Shanae/Shamae/Druidae on it. It will expire at the beginning of December and I will not renew it. The account with Whisperess/Aegi/Navenah will at most last until new year.
Why? Well, to quote a very short man: "I've put this up for far to long". The game went dull ages ago, with nothing truly new to explore. I've had some great times though, starting with Albion on Prydwen.
Joined Utopia at around level 14 with Turgor and had some great times with my RL friend Owan and the others in Utopia - Orlando(shike)/Zoelin/Alchymedes(liste)/Hexia(ziera) to name a few. That however got boring at around level 30 when all my friends leveled away during my vacation.
Rerolled Midgard/Excalibur and created Shanae. Got her to 50 and leveled up Whisperess, which would come to be my 'main' char. Joined Heart & Soul at level 12 with Shanae, promoted to GM during the 'dark ages' of Camlann hysteria.
Heart & Soul has been like a second home to me - filled with warmth and friendliness - far apart from the überness of the more RvR-oriented guilds.
Without you guys I would most likely have stopped playing ages ago. I won't mention names since there are too many to mention, and I would probably just end up forgetting to mention someone who would then be upset - you're all great people; love you all. :wub:
My visit to Hibernia was sadly a short one. As guildmaster of Thorn and member of the Nature's Eye alliance people knew me as Navenah/Druidae. It was nice to be a part of Hibernia during it's uprising when it finally got back to it's feet again. Participating in a massive keep raid that truly shook Midgard the other day made me realize that things are looking much better for Hibernia and I hope you will keep it up even in the future. :great:
It is sad to see that Mythic has lost control over their creation, I hope it works out for them in the end. To the people on Barrysworld, all I can say is: revalue what you're doing. If you get upset about the game ( a game is supposed to be entertaining btw ), maybe it's time to do something else, or atleast take a break? It is sad to see people hide behind their virtual identities and say/do stuff that they would never do in real life, just because there are little to no consequences. Always remember that there is a real live human being at the other side of the avatar you're interacting with.
No matter who you are or how you acted in game/on the forums, I will truly miss you.
