Finished reading this just last week. Was a really really good book.

I guess Ray was waiting for me to give it my seal of approval.

Shame. :(

If you've not read it get pirating. He's dead so it's no longer a crime. There's a really good audiobook where it's actually him who reads it too...

Depends ofcourse who gets the proceeds of booksales and if individuals think that particular source deserves money for the product. For example; his family getting the peanuts.

I've read both the novel and the graphic novel.

Never seen firemen the same way since then.

I liked the Introduction that he wrote for the book where he talks about how he wrote it - really interesting insight.

He posed some very difficult questions which have a timeless quality to them.

Read it as a teenager, probably worth a re-read ... I remember it as being powerful and compelling, but only being a kid may have missed some subtext.
