I almost always do a /salute or /bow to everyone I fight and win, or loose and get res’d later
I think the only other emotes I use are /wave and on a rare occasion /rude
/rude is only EVER used when I have been killed by the unscrupulous who have added or I have been set upon by a gank squad but have survived by timely arrival of others
or
I have had my ass handed to me on a plate by a gank squad who then have been killed and I have then been res’d by gank squad killers
If the incident did not fit into either of these then there must have been a b.good reason for it at the time to warrant this (as I don’t remember doing it - no chance of remembering why) maybe you missed something that happened moments previous, and then to me looked like you were part of it - don't know, cannot remember

Good old duels. Hard work trying to get a duel in BGs though, there's always some stealther nearby.
Wish I could remember the name of the scout that duelled my eld... I think he thought I was a NS coz I had no staff and had vest not robe. He bowed, I shrugged, he shot me and hit my BT bub, I quickcast bolt, 1 shot him for about 5xx damage(was a crit), waved and run off lol. Poor sod.
