Just curious how a thread entitled "normal server for me" should tell me that someone already posted about this subject? Are we supposed to read every thread to see if someone has linked to a subject/newsitem before posting about it? I did scan the topics before posting.

Its not as if another person visting the forum will look at that thread and understand that it contains info about new battlegrounds, its much more likely he will asume its about the relative merits of chosing PvE server over PvP with regards to lowbie ganking and such.

Anyway, its all well and good that you closed my thread, but i just dont see that it was really necessary with regards to the title of the other thread about this subject.

It wasn't a slight against you Fana, just that topics notwithstanding it can become messy if people post the same subject matter.

The question sort of arises "Do I post in that thread, this one, or both?", in any case it's likely the more recent of the two will be closed

Heck, if in doubt do a quick search if you're not sure, might be laborious but better safe than sorry

On a side note (and at the risk of hijacking the thread) I wouldn't mind knowing if there's more or less I can do personally to satiate the people here as far as the mini WoW community we have is concerned

yes skap people for inappropriate and unrelated topics to thread content, thats how we got this mess in the first place, don't see what Fana has done wrong here, we should not be obliged to read every thread nor do a search for stuff every time we think bout creating a new thread! imo ofcourse, TPTB at FH may be dis-enclined to aquiesce

As far as i'm concerned it's going well so far, I hate seeing several different threads about the same topic or asking the same questons over and over.

In regard to the Fana thread - i'd say it's more of a criticism of LordJox, in that he should (and we all should) try and title threads a bit more appropriately.

I don't disagree Solid but one of them did likely have to go, and being the later of the two posts, however well titled, it was in the unfortunate position of being closed first. If you like I can badger Yoni about it and see if we can come to an agreement, of course opening that one would mean the other one would be locked as a result
