Just wondering what your damage cap is on your lvl46 spec bolt and your base bolt, and also what Matery of Magery you have.
I have MoM4, but according to Herald it doesnt effect bolts, but ive tested void on Gorre with MoM2 in the past and I cant recall doing over 1000 damage.

My caps are :

Spec: 1039
Base : 802

my boltcap is 951 on my rc rm, so it seems like it works.

with mom 2 it should have done 1033 dmg since its same delve as pbae :>

Mwahaha, with MoM2 I think my fire bolt cap (lvl 50) was 1042.

985ish I seem to remember (annoying it was just under 1000) with Mom2 (spec bolt), cant remember other one. Ill go test more accuratly when I got a min.

from memory it delves for a couple of points less (though practicaly the same). Def dont go over 1000 with mom2 (unless it changed this patch)

I remember back when ras first came out. I heard that MoM didn't effect bolts aswell, but i checked the damage cap on my spec bolt before buying MoM (I was buying it to increase my dds damage anyway as that was my most used spell at the time) and after and it definately increased it. So unless a patch from then to now has changed it, I can say that MoM definately effects bolts.

Your bolt delve value is 331 mine is 309

so.. nerf etc.

325 on pb, 309 on bolt.

How come it ain't exactly surprising, that the magic realm doesn't have the best bolt :p

spell cap dmg

Ok base dmg of bolts is 309, the cap is 3 times that value.

So the lvl 46 void bolt hits for :

309*3=927

With mastery of magery you add 3% per lvl, which gives you :
927 * 1.12 = 1038.24 which seems to be rounded up to 1039.

Got mastery of magery 2 on my eld and hit for 983. Theoretically 982.62 .. rounded up too.

For baseline bolt it seems different:

base dmg is 239, cap without mom : 717, you shoud hit for 803.04 then .. obviously this is more than rounded down.

Mom2 makes that bolt hit for 759, should be 760.02, so i guess the baseline bolt has a value of 238.5 rather than 239.
( seems that needs a denerf)

Hope that enlighted you a bit .. btw that 3 times value applies for all nukes too.

Dunno why mythic doesn't seem to understand it's own game.

"Specializing in destructive and powerful magic, the Eldritch is perhaps the most dangerous spellcaster in the game. His spells deal with the most primal forces of nature. Only Elves and Lurikeen from the Way of Magic are able to channel the power of this class"

Has the LEAST damaging bolt in game?


....Mind you, Wardens are suposed to be "highly competent warriors"

the instruction book also says nightshades is "A strong spellcaster", druids have "the ability to charm and control animals" and "Rangers are masters of tracking" (gifv rangers radar!!!). ;)

Yeah...and I did most of the /pointing and /laughing...then rolled one myself LOL

988 cap spec bolt with 202int and MoM II
952 cap spec bolt with 202int and MoM I

so yes it is affected :)
