and liloe:

used fraps to capture from daoc and compress it with virtualdub, fraps cost's around 30 euro and records uncompressed video on your harddrive, so you will need a good computer else you will have 0fps when you record used xvid codec in virtualdub at 1400 bitrate to compress the clips.

edit: if you want to record movies with nice framerate and no fps lag ingame i sugest you get tv-out on your gfx card and a second computer with a tv-in card that you capture video from daoc directly, takes less space on hdd and much better framerate, maybe not the same sharp and clear quality, but you can play with same fps as you usually do and record longer!

You can switch fraps onto capturing the audio as well

Now I need to start playing again, finally got a computer so I can use fraps (yes, bought it and couldn't use, before you ask )

I can run fraps while having 2 accounts running. It gets a little bit laggy, but very possible. It only records the account I have highlighted.

comp specs: 2.8 p4, 1024 ram, radeon9800xt

Yeah, I always have that on, but the problem for me atleast is that I listen to music while I play so the result on video is the game effects + music from winamp or whatever.
Wish there was some way to record just the in-game sounds.

Mad... please say which songs are being used in these two movies especially the tv-in one
(ohw I do know Within Temptation - Mother Earth, nice to hear a dutch song in one of these movies makes me think my country is known after all )
