But perkele is a bit more harsh then devil, like the ultimate evil one, where devil is piru in finnish

It doesn't have a good translation to an english devil synonym.

Shouting "perkele!"(per-kele), loud and strong, with a hard P, strong R K and L, will let everyone know that you're well pissed off.

EDIT: If someone were to kick you in the balls, you'd more likely to shout "jumalauta", which more means anger towards a person or an action, where as "perkele!" is more used to convey annoyance.
