Big magnetic storm, are any of you far enough north to see this? The 'red' on the graph will rotate round as you come into darkness.

I could see it faintly but its too much light from streetlights etc to be seen properly. I tried take a pic of it but my camera isn't advanced enough to shoot it. Its light green S shaped silhuetts, looks very cool.

I have a Canon Ixus 115 HS, great inexpensive camera for parties and vacation for someone not interested in photography... not great for shooting Aurora Borealis

Been up at a friends, far north. It was awesome! No shots to cover it tho
