I just wanted to say hi, and to tell u that i do admire your playing skill. U always plann your strike with maximum detail, and i never got a chance to escape from u, and no chance to kill u. Same goes for stealthed and vega.
But u never travel alone, and i would love to have an encounter 1v1 with only u, even if i will prolly die few secs after u destealth.
I dont blame u for traveling with 3+ more stealthed friends (sbs and hunters) and full buffed. U have to because all other stealthers, or better say most of them, do same. I'm just curious if unbuffed and solo u will perform as good as with those.
Again, very good played and good timing every time.
Just another reason for me to leave the game.

Shadowblades can still kill things. You just need people to be fighting you while your now somewhat more ubar hunter friend makes him into a pincusion. Sadly, this tactic works doubly well for assassins and archers of the other two realms. Ho hum.

It's still quite possible to kill things, alone and unbuffed. Maybe you die more but is there anythign as sweet as killing someone see their buffs drop and know that you did it unbuffed?


(Tho sometimes buffed are almost 'needed' i said almost, when you need to clear a milegate of 1 buffed stealther that you can't handle unbuffed or something like that)

FYI Szakal did not respecc due to LA nerf, he never was a Shadowzerker. He did good before the patch and is doing good now. But as you say, he does not strike in haste but plans his moves and is careful, just as an assasin should have to be.

Keda is right, i work hard for my kills since most stealthers i run into in emain / odins are buffed to teeths.
If all goes right for me, meaning i am stealthed, enemy is not, i get the surprise factor and mezz & dds, and he dont purge mezz, then i rest for end waiting for dds again (prolly get a pet if posible too), then proc dot from shield, stun and dds and slash away / unleash pet, and i can get him to 1/4 or so before he can hit me back, i might win. If it is a ranger and he does ip before i have to ip myself, i might win again, else i will loose.
One exception, so far hunters i meet 1v1 where not hard at all. I didnt meet a full buffed one (except his own buffs) and high rr.
But, if things go any other way than how i did described, i have to run (if i can) or i die. I solo unbuffed. I wear a mix of epic and drops. I have 1112 hp. I have 26% slash / thrust / body resists, rest of them being even below 10%. If i get paed and cded i die 100%. If i get paed and doted and i dont have ip up, i die too. If i get paed and i do have ip up, but sb / ns purge my stun before i can mezz him, i die too if sos is not up (no chance to kill it in melee, they outdamage me drastically).
That's why i do enjoy so much to solo, is so challenging, i have to plan my attacks and pick my targets with devilsh atention to even slightest detail. When i was r3l4 and respeced for ip, i did soloed Luon the rr7 ns in odins, near hpk. Was a damn nice fight, i didnt got any pet, he took me to 1/4 hp after using IP, but i did manage to kill him. That was for me like: Wow! Fall back on chair, light a cigie, stare at ceilling smilling and thinking: life is worth living, and is such a wonderfull life.
Now go on and flame me for telling u this, but i am sure there are few amongst u who did experience something like this too, who are working hard for their kills and enjoy them at max, and is what makes us to /release and come back next time, is what makes peeps to give u credit and respect.
And even if szakal plays buffed and often teams up with hunters and other sbs, he is still damn of a good player, and i would like to meet him 1v1 to duel several times, on several scenaries, to throw in all we both got, tactics, ras, and all.

And /bow and /salute to all stealthers who still play unbuffed and solo out there, i respect u all and happy to see u value more skill and tactics than stick and hack away, omg i am buffed as a tank, i hit like a dreadnought, i have hp of a mamuth, and a bunch of friends to help me as soon as we jump a soloer.

Soloing as a stealther is hard... y'day when I went to Hadrians and aproached the Hibernian Milegate it looked kinda empty. Then I spotted another hunter and she told me there were 5 or so others around. If I hadnt spotted her I wouldnt have known at all.

LOL a sb hit with DF for 450 !? have never happend and iv'e been a shadowzerk for over a year!

anyway Szakal is my God when it comes to SB's i love beeing out with him, im still trying to learn from his patience..

about buffs, well i can't remember last time i killed someone that was unbuffed tbh, and just because you're buffed doesnt mean you can just hack away ( not as a SB anyway.. razor infs and NS's though...) we sb's will always have to have skill to kill.

Nerfed, Un-nerfed, Buffed, Un-buffed ..... I don't thing any of that matters to Szakal.

No bitchin', no moaning ! Just some good old fashion throat slitting.

I have the honor to be guilded with him and he is a top bloke.

When I am hunting in DF and the enemy are about, it's nice to get a reassuring <Szakal waves to you> even though you cannot see him.

All I know is that he loves to kill the enemy and will be in there at any opportunity. A true player amongst players.

Hehe, Mr S is a true killer, dosent mather if he play Szakal, his Warrior or hes bg BD.. he kills everything... heck he even kills with a bg healer I heard. I am along with the bunch (prolly the entire guild) in Enharjarna that thinks Szakal is the God
