If you hadn't bought the helm from the farmers in the first place, then you wouldn't have needed encounter, and then it would be less desirable for them to farm it cuz there would be less buyers:-P

Yes yes, I was just teasing you that you are making the farmers farm more if you are buying from them, and as such, you only have yourself to blame
You could ask them to make a bg though, so you can join it, then you should get credit, don't even have to be in the area of the encounter I think. I know it has worked for several guildies with other artifacts.

How can you farm The Winged Helm?

It's on an 18 hour timer.

Mythic really should have put a fast pop on Hermes to save the hassle, so fustrating wasting 20 mins sailing to and away from some island in the middle of nowhere only to find that ofc its not up, or 'camped'...

Artifacts need to be significantly harder to get and infinitely rarer, the whole point of having rare artifacts of significant power is ridiculed by the simple fact that everyone has one!

Camping artifacts is hideous if the farmer intends to sell them. Nerfing the spawn and drop rate so that instead of 18hrs, it may take 10 days to pop, and instead of 1in3 attempts produces a drop, make it 1in20 could be the answer.

Then again, whats the bets on one person camping a spot for 8 months

and finally I got it and OMG at leveling speed on it...FFS everyone say this ain't dem best artis around and still mythic has labeled it with class not getting good exp from rvr nor anything human but fooking harpies...one get so irritated after whacking few hours them that it's almost time to throw in more than few whine spams at goa & mythic t.t
