Light is far more exciting pve then mana imho, at least as chanter, but then again, if you would go light, you would be ment, and for mana you would go chanter =) If your basically bored of those, assume void is the solution ^_^

Still, fire wizards completly pwn a void eld, wizards have a great dd, void elds have a lot of weak utility, but few handy tools imho (gtaoe is nice for keeps....oh, and debuff is nice to leave to others do deal damage)

If you want "the best mage" it's no dubt really, ofc it's mana chanter....fucking to many of them. Basicly cause they can debuff theire own damage (heat debuff+base dd) and got uber pbaoe. Allso uber pet damage hield chant for pve.....and some good pets, snarenukes etc.

But if you don't care that much of being the "best mage" take the spec you like to spec, light ment is fun for me (though sometimes I wouldn't mind having a uber pbaoe or a heat debuff)
