On the topic, I was duoing with Sorsin that night when we decided to litterally cut the supply line of the hibernian CK defence, which we had much success in, I might add. however when Mevop happened to come by us Sorsin was still in stealth when I engaged him, and Sorsin did not uncover during the fight, a bit odd no?

if he can see a inf with 19+5 in stealth +mos 2 in that range that his pet attacked then i want to play bondancer...

Okey since this is my first whine thread I feel like replying. And for the record, no I do not cheat, and since I can't remember the incident I can't really defend myself.

Eh? I have that and love it altho I miss having 20 stealth, I get cuite often uncovered with 19. Seems there is cuite a big difference.

Accusing someone of cheating is fine as far as i'm concerned if you show the evidence. If you can't produce the film, then naming and shaming is bad, since you're probably wrong and should really go away.

Not as far as I know - as I understand it no data on stealthed characters is sent to the client so you cant be 'radar'ed' by hacking the data sent by the server.

Pets are buggy things tho and it may have been on aggro and spotted the stealther - who knows really...

Aggro pet, bugged stealth (that happens) maybe he did unstealth and restealthed quickly, perhaps you hit him sometime in the past 5 minutes and his pet aggro'd after that, his pet saw you and he had it on aggro...

There's a million reasons for his pet to attack you. He might even have just sent his pet to a targer near you whilst it was on aggro

well 19+5=24 stealth is exactly the same as 20+5=25 stealth ie the highest u can have at lev24 is 24 total stealth. The only difference being the improved safe fall u obtain when u spec 20points in stealth.

Regarding MoS...

Mastery of Stealth

Modifies stealth detection and stealth movement. Camouflage counters the Mastery of Stealth bonus, allowing an archer to only be seen at the normal range. Doesn't affect detect hidden classes when they are detecting other detect hidden classes. (Meaning it has no affect on assassins detecting assassins.)

yeah ok u'll move abit faster and detect archers easier, but the bit i underlined is why i consider MoS a waste in thid.

Some time ago, like 1 year, it happened to me sometimes that I could see a stealther from like 2000 range...It just happened 2 or 3 times when there was still old thid and mids were camping APK, could see some of them from 2000 range and cast pets on em with my theurgist. No way I did use some kind of hack, think it was just bugged stealth or they had 1stealth spec or something (assuming it happened just a few times quite randomly, don't think they had low stealth spec).

So it can happen.
