Can you please enlighten us to where in Kelan's post he says he was playing his BD? His sig shows a L50 shaman, BD, and a skald, the latter of which is definitely a melee class but also has "magic resists" on its shouts. Do you expect people to be clairvoyant when posting on this forum?

I don't have any aoe dot lol... i only cast the instantlifetaps wich i can cast anytime(and that heal me), and the regular spells, 3x of each every 30 sec.
I was saying the melees don't count as in they do like 0 damage.

Well i dont know the in's and out's of playing a necro it was some sort of aoe attack,and from wat chim says ... whatever,tbh i dont give a damn if this is fixed this patch then good i say.

I knew that this "bug" exsisted but i have more tact than most ppl be4 i go accusing someone of bug abusing/cheating.I just couldnt beleive 1 necropet could be so damn hard even with resists, artifacts, buffs etc as ive fought many be4 without any problems at all.

Well whatever, this sure as hell aint gonna make me loose no sleep over. As it aint the first time i died in rvr encounters and sure as hell wont be the last.

No. How can he himself be the two BDs? It's "5-6 OTHER MIDS", as in not BDs. The sentence is categorizing over classes, since the discussion had already eastablished that melee chars are almost inconsequential against buffed necro pets with their insane absorb.

Splitting hairs, though.

To be honest, Chimaira, telling this in a forum was stupid and will only lead to necros starting to abuse this bug (or was it fixed this patch?). I, for one, had no idea things worked this way, and I thought I stayed reasonably abreast with DAoC things. In fact, this is like when Censi introduced the drag window exploit to Excalibur. :touch:

take a look at this post and read it from start, noone have ever mentioned it, until you did. And i assure you that everyone didnt know about it.

chim - stop posting how to exploit, it's fixed in 1.69 not 1.68

if you see any unkillable necros then report them - it's possible they're just using the incredibly sick amount of absorb that +con buffs give pets and the shade-cast, pet-instant lifetap to stay alive, but if they're surviving nukes, changing resist numbers, gaining huge amounts of absorb and healing incredibly quickly then there's a good chance it's a certain "feature" which you should report (logs will be able to see easily if that's whats going on)

Of course if the same happens fighting a bonedancer then just cry because it's purely down to them being sickeningly powerful (though I guess their bd pets could be harder to kill)

Savage= can kill a class with a bit of luck in 2-4 swings, efter that health etc is very low(with self buffs) dmg etc.

Necro= can kill 5-6 mids casters/tanks and walk away with 100% hp 50% pow, without much of a hazzle.

Ok the necro might have some sweet toa stuff sc etc, but compared to any other class in their most wanted gear, toa items etc they are still no match to a necro.

Consider that most necros that wanna abuse it already knew about it I find it better that rest of community knows it cause if they meet a unkillable necromancer they will know wtf is going on and have a chance to report him and knowing what he is doing.

Sure I agree I might of said to much. but by now ppl knows this. And if anyone happens to meet another unkillable necromancer they as I said know whats up.

Theres always another side of story. this is mine.

Does it matter who played the BD´s? The fact is there was 2 BD´s nuking, who played them should be pretty irrelevant? Or maybe I missed something, it was alot of whine already and its hard to separate it all
