well i run solo/duo and i get trampled enough by hordes and hordes of albs/mids, its part of the game really

that said, i think its quite sad some people run in an 'opted' fg all in the same dyes/emblem because there simply isn't enough to kill for a fg.

An btw Alb CC is the best in the game an i rarely got CC'd all day (lol even in thid v's next to no insta's....i had me a fuckin blast with me "i rolled him 5 mins ago, someone lend me a focus staff FFS" pryd sorc. Without purge that shit was fuckin so easy it was boring). It aint my fault yer mates suck shit at this game. Maybe you should roll a sorc if your so fuckin superiour an show all yer nub mates how it's done

Like Begach said: We try to do a guild group every sunday just for fun...
rules are: if you wanna join join, with any char you want... so we ended up with 2bard, 1nat druid and a lvl 20 hero, the rest we picked up at hpk cause we were overrun every single time by hordes of mids and albs.
We had some uber fights, killed many and got zerged every time. Did we QQ? Nope. we laughed, released got back killed loads etc etc etc....
Most importantly we had FUN!!! and no not fun killing every single alb or mid we come accros but killing as many when we are outnumbered 3 to 1!
And btw please don't say anything about our guild colours.... We looked very cool there :kissit:


ps: Mids please take back CK. Its always most boring when albs have it... even some albs think so

An for the record here's how building a "bg1 elite" char goes.

1) pick a class you dunno how to play (me = shield tank)
2) 5 mins before goin bg goto the 2 old guys in TNN an get the free shit
3) buy a 50c cloak with a hood (cause it looks cooler) an get an emblem on it
4) join the guildies that turned up an fill missing spots with randoms (was 4-5 from my guild not one of em even remotely playing thier main. ie for a laugh).

Owned much? I usually miss out thid completely. I wonder why ^^

salute to u middies

I was on sat night at about 01:00 in the morning, all good little hibbies had gone to bed ;-(

so here I was solo up against 2fg mids and prob about 3fg albs.

I ran up to hib bridge (im a vw) and saw a bd and a kobby.

Who dares wins I thought and rushed in to attack, a quick release later im back at hib bridge and gues what again the same to mids.

This time i run up to them, got mezzed and they let me live.

Ok I thought friendly mids, and feeling a bit lonely i decided to run with them.

Arriving at mid bridge a horde of mids charged me and I took a beating, but low and behold they stopped before my hp's were gone.

Next thing I know im standing with about 16 mids all around me and im fighting side by side against the alb forces (wish I had taken a screenie).

Any way I would like to thank the mids that were on that night for allowing me to take part in the battle instead of being rp fodder as a solo'r.

Yeah, I've had similar experiences with Middies myself before, usually when I'm on as MrBen... big salute to all the middies I've fought the Alb War Machine side by side with and a big no no to the guy who killed me on the Mid seige of ck a few days ago. I stood stealthed beside him for ages, waved at him for a bit, then showed myself, and he waved back, then gave me a hug. So I thought cool, this guy is along the same wavelength. Heh, you only know he decided to slam the shit out of me ten minutes later when the albs pushed the mids back out of the keep. I didn't hit back (partly out of my initial decision, tho mainly because I knew, as a Sniper, I'd have no chance ) gave him a quick shake of the head and then died on my fall from the ramparts. Shame on you dude, but heh, I know, rp hunger can get even the strongest sometimes, huh?

Bgs are fun, and there should be no talk about pwning or anything like that Xplo, christ, in bg1 the majority of players are guys who never touched the class before but thought it'd be fun to /lvl the bugger and have a stab in bg... good all round fun. And Tue you bugger, /salute to you, even if you are buffed all the time... I'll get you one day man!
