hey Durz, no album deal as yet..open to offers though. I was signed to an Internet based label but they wanted exclusive rights. Needless to say I told em to fuck off and swivel

no cash, it was more of a release/remix deal. I make them x amount of tunes and they grab exclusive rights to allow other members of the label to remix them. All sounds fine until I thought about it for a while. I'm still a noob to all this shit and feel very protective about my music. Its a personal thing and if I was to get released 'mainstream' then i'd want full control over it. one theing George Michael bought to the worlds attention with his Sony court case was that exact same thing.

..which ties nicely into the 'personal' music thing. I'm not one for giving out personal feelings n shit on a forum but I wrote that for a girl I met last year. Her surname was Canavan and I didnt want to let on that I had a thing for her so I called the track Caravan. Its stuff likemthat whcih makes me reluctant to get it off to the bigwigs who run the decent labels..
