It's very unlikely he's gonna roll a bot just to stand about and buff up his enemy's.

i think you still don't get the post turran, it's an enemy asking for a bot to buff these guys if they have conc, not these guys asking for buffs.

You can tell starwars was a long long time ago, soldiers these days I believe receive basic firearms training before being let loose in the field.. well the ones not from the States anyway.
