By the end of May, all 512k, 1Mb & 2Mb customers will be automatically upgraded, enabling them to go 50% faster.

There's no extra charge for this - it's absolutely FREE which means you can enjoy 50% faster broadband for your existing monthly charge.

512k > 768k
1Mb > 1.5Mb
2Mb > 3Mb


I'm thinking an upgrade to the 1.5Mb service is called for...

nope 50% is half again of what you already had, 512 - 1mb would be 100% increase in your bandwidth or your bandwidth plus your bandwidth again

1mb atm so 1.5mb connection ontop of my already exsisting traffic shaping (dont lag ingame when downloading etc )

Had a telewest 2 meg connection for ages

but seeing as goa Servers are Naff does not make that much differace.

I also work for telewest & this is True 2 meg = 3 meg.

still get sever lag & porting lag.

Damn! I moved from blueyonder over to BT last year Mind you I'm on the BT 1MB deal now and upload speeds are much faster then blyeyonder. I do a lot of uploading so this is worth it for me.

this evening a telewest (blueyonder) dude came to my house informing me that they are finally installing in the area, for the same price of what im currently paying for phone and 512 im about to get freely installed 1.5mb connection and new phone with £30 discount over 3 months... i is a happy bunny
