I'm an ex-hardcore CS player, used to play in numbers, top of clanbase and the major UK leagues.

Just wondering if any other fellow members are camelot players? We all seemed to fade into the distance, would be nice to know if any of you are still around.

I would say that those who CHEATED in CS are the same kind of players who use radar etc in DAoC.
Remember, the CS player base was far greater than DAoC has, or ever will be, thats a lot of players to paint with one brush.

We, [CoFR], played you at a lan competition in Nottingham I believe, almost 3/4 years ago. #'s were insanely good, if a little immature with their attitude, but I guess being so competitive can make you that way.

I was CoFR Timber Wolf, who used to moderate the General Forum on Counter-Strike.net many years ago

I remember you...although I wasn't at the LAN competition you met #s at. I used to play for other clans as FoRk. Immaturity reigns the CS community, everyone gets heated from time to time. We were accused of cheating so much (almost every match) that it started pissing people off to the point of arrogance and perhaps immaturity. I guess it's infectious. We disbanded due to the constant barrage of accusations, even though we proved ourselves to be clean in LAN tournaments, not to mention the fact our server was always running latest PB etc, demos/videos were always taken...ah well, tis the life of CS.
