FAO ALL!! -scammer warning-

Today i watched Gecki get scammed by a guy with an animist called Plz, he traded the acc with Gecki giving him info that wasnt true. When Gecki (real one) then logged in the acc nothing was as the info he gave, he then loged out of irc and msn and just ignored pms. His account didnt have any of the chars he supplyed in the info.
The following chars can be used by the scammer in game. Gecki (bard), Kiiz (eld), Bryggen (ani) and Eventually (ns)
All this heapened while i was watching irl.
Just a warning to my fellow hibs about this guy.

the guy scammed me he said he had 2 50s and a 48 ranjur on camlann i got pics of it and of his other chars! now im stuck with a sucki animist argh.. totaly /quit for me i guess

his chars that were supose to be traded are Kaje Katjek and Kajex

But if you have screenies, couldn't you post em to GoA? surely they will be able to do something about it (If not change the pass for ur old acc and give it to u, then at least punish the scammer in one way or the other?)

its just naive to trust ppl that want to trade, its not like its the first time someone is being scammed. seems theres more scammers into the tradingstuff than honest players that want to make an honest trade.

I thought people traded the game account first then if all was OK, trade the subscription acc (if that makes sense). That way both parties could reset the passwords if the trade wasnt as promised. Ive never traded so dont know if thats right so dont flame if im mis-informed.

I hope those toons of yours werent guilded when you traded. Else some people better lock the vault up quick.

GOA would close both accounts cos tradeing i against the CoC. what u should have done instead of posting here is contact goa and say someone has stolen your account.. you have the original authentication key u got with the original version of the game. But since u made this thread and alot of DAoC mods read the forums its basically lost me thinks....

Hmmmm... well, wouldn't that be better than letting it pass? Kiiz says, he's gonna leave the game because of this, so he might as well get the scammed account closed..?

With all the scamming going on these days, its rather stupid to trust people on trading accounts. And yes, most likely goa will close both accounts now. Espesically when saying the names of the chars here, thats very smart.

Anyway, closing this thread. Some people might consider Zorah nice for "warning" people about his "scammer", i say innocent untill proven guilty. For all i know this all could be a lie because of something bad that happened ingame.

So in other words, report your scamming adventure to GOA and leave these forums out of it. They have the tools to verify your accusations and act according to them and we don't.
