FAO all Midgard GM's

Firstly let me introduce myself. I am Ste the current leader of the Red Shadow Alliance (RSA) on Excalibur.

With clustering now imminent it is past time that the guild leaders of Excalibur and Prywden got together and started to discuss a few important issues (such as realm defence and RR's etc.) As such the RSA has set aside a private section of our alliance forum for all the gm's of both servers to get together.

It would be greatly appreciated if as many GM's as possible would register there and then pm either 'Phil', 'Sye', or me 'Ste' stating that your a GM and require access to the leaders section.

When registering please name the guild you are the gm of in your signature and what server you are based on. For the moment we are only going to allow GM's access to the leaders section but this should be expanded to officers as well in the future.

We have had about 25-30 GM's of various sized guilds sign up so far, but we need more if this is to be successful.

Even GM's of the smallest guilds are welcome to join us. Even just holding a T3 or T4 for a few days would be contributing to the defense. Not to mention the addition of one more mind in the think tank.

47 Midgard guilds, over both servers, have signed up so far but we still want more.

So GM's sign up today your realm needs you. (oh what i'd give for a smiley with handlebar moustache right now )

A quick update

The GM forum servers have been down for the past few days. They are now back up so we can carry on preparing for the cluster again.

We have also now topped 50+ Midgard guilds signing up. If ur a gm, or know of a GM, thats not yet signed up then please do so. The more that join up the better our chances of organising RR's and realm defence.

The GM's are deciding themselves what they can take and hold, i dont fill in they can take a keep if they haven't told me they can

Nope. ATM were just compiling a list of guilds, BP's and what the GM's think their guild would and could comfortably claim after the clustering. We can then collectively decide who claims what. All claiming will be done by GM's volunteering their guilds.

The list is purely an aid for the Midgard GM's to organise our defence.

The second advantage of GM's signing up is that they get to be involved in the planning of large scale realm events (e.g. relic raids) and the organisers also can get some idea of how much resources they get to play with.

Finally RSA are not trying to lead Midgard with this venture and have no intention of. I took this initiative because it needed doing and it seemed no-one else was doing it or in a position to do so in the near future. I wont lie to anyone and say that every guild has signed up because they haven't, with some noticable abstentee's (FoM, NP, BC etc etc) but the majority have and theres been a lot of communications between Excalibur and Prydwen GM's already.

Can all the GM's work together? Well only time will tell tbh but the early signs are positive.

Can all GM's who have signed up please take a look at the forum again. Were now putting together a plan to decide which guilds claim what keeps/towers when clustering eventually goes live on the English servers.

P.S. If your a GM and haven't signed up yet it's never too late. All guilds are welcome to have some input no matter the size or alliance etc. Once registered just pm me with the name of the guild your the GM of and I will grant you access to the leaders boards.

btw we now have 60+ Midgard guilds signed up
