Greetings all!

I have told several of my customers to wait until after patch 1.52 to order armor (esp. AF 49). As more and more are interested in getting their crafter armor in good time before Alchemy and Spellcrafting, I've decided to make this pricelist.

I will keep my orders to Sylvan and above. All my prices are based on the gold and silver production cost (discarding the coppers). Retry prices are listed in (parenthesis) - you pay that price and I get to keep the "discarded" piece.

All prices are in the format gold, silver.

On to my pricelist!

*** QUILTED CLOTH ARMOR ***
Only the double-stiched AF 49 is listed. The other double-stiched armor is too expensive to craft for the extra 1-2 AF (never made one).

The AF 49 Armor is the equivalent of AF 51, but due to rounding processes in the AF calculation is shows as AF 49.

A question to Fangrim from a 600ish little taylor:

How have you calculated your prices? I mean: have you used a web program, an Excel file, calculated it from tests yourself, etc.? And are your price based on material cost, time to make, etc? What % of them do you gain if you use them? Do you count prices of materials in stacks of 20?
As you see, I'm very curious! :D Note this is for putting a price on the things I can make, and geet some gold to progress in the crafting world (thought slowly :))

Thanks in advance for your time.

As far as I can see Fangrims prices are Cost + 25 %

I am using Keltors spredsheet for calculating prices

Can i ask what the benifit of a full set of AF49 @ 100% Quality has over a set of say Stonepin or higher set of cloth(dropped).

I have never really understood cloth armour as it has no absorbtion is it not better to have cloth with high stats than a craftered set with not stats(until SC/A).

I almost want to buy a set, but if I buy player made cloth, I'd want 99/100% qual to take full use of Spellcrafting... (99 -> 100 qual is like 5ish spell-craft points more, if I got it right)

The higher quality, the higher effective AF. The higher AF, the lower damage you take. How it is taken into damage calc, I don't know.

Wedge, I will make a full set AF 49, 99% qual for you for 900g, fixed price.

To Pcentella:
For an item the customer wants, I charge material costs + 25%.
For a retry I charge 50% of material costs. So an item worth 100g in material costs will sell for 125g, or 50g for a retry.

I have a bit of trouble making fixed prices for sets, as I don't have that much experience with those.

I don't count materials in stacks - I buy what I need, and the leftovers goes to vault. I will use my vault materials before buying new ones though. I don't take time into account at all.

Simple as that!

I charge +25% because I think it's a nice compromise between profit and time spent. Anymore than that, and I'd feel like I'm ripping ppl off.

I have just received an order for a full AF 102 Leather 100% set. I charged 5.5p for that, fixed. I might lose money on it, but I have to start somewhere ;) The spinoff 99% sets from this I will sell for cheap (sold one for 700g).

Over time charging 3 times material cost for a 99% suit will leave you with a reasonable profit while hopefully not ripping people off too badly. It will however mean that on some orders you lose gold.

Charging based on number of retries is possible - but people would rather know in advance how much gold they have to farm.

Taking one masterpiece order and selling the 99s you get while doing it sounds like the least hassle route to me.

The wait for spellcrafting begins ...
